“Brain” really came from a place I think a lot of us find ourselves in – that feeling of your own thoughts just taking over, almost like your mind has a mind of its own. For me, this particular way my brain operates, with its constant hum and relentless energy, is deeply tied to my ADHD. I've always been someone who feels things deeply, and sometimes that translates into an internal monologue that just won't quit. This song was born out of those moments where the noise inside my head felt overwhelming, a constant stream of anxiety and introspection that becomes almost all-consuming. It’s about that relentless mental energy, the kind that keeps you wired, pushing you forward even when you wish you could just hit pause. Translating that internal chaos into sound was an intense process. I wanted the music to mirror that feeling of being caught in a loop, the driving rhythm pushing relentlessly forward, just like racing thoughts. We built this electro-rock landscape that feels both anxious and incredibly energetic, using layers to represent the complexity and density of what goes on inside. There’s a real catharsis in taking something so personal and, frankly, sometimes frightening, and shaping it into something powerful and dynamic. It was a way for me to confront those feelings head-on, to give them a voice and a sonic identity, rather than letting them just swirl around in silence.
