The Jötunn

The Jötunn is an Ohio-based metal band blending melodic deathcore, death metal, and hardcore into a relentless, groove-driven sound. Comprised of Paul Kahan, Shawn Kahan, and Londyn Snow, the band first made their mark with 2022's Graveworshipper, produced alongside former member Cole Martinez (Whitechapel, Abigail Williams, Salt the Wound). Their follow-up release, Summoner, featured collaborations with renowned producers including Henrik Udd (Architects, Bring Me The Horizon), Cole Martinez, and Josh Wickman (Within the Ruins, King 810, Oceans Ate Alaska), highlighting the band's continued evolution. With new music on the horizon, The Jötunn remains committed to delivering crushing riffs, powerful melodies, and uncompromising intensity. The band recently completed a 3 song EP with Matt Guglielmo of The Acacia Strain at Graphic Nature Audio (Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die, Fit For An Autopsy). The Jötunn has headlined multiple near-capacity shows in Cleveland and Columbus, and has performed as direct support to national acts such as Fear Factory, Darkest Hour, Mushroomhead, Spineshank, Hed PE, Tallah, It Dies Today and Nine Shrines.
