Rejoice

When I sat down to write "Rejoice" I was in a dark place. I had felt deep depression like I had not felt since a child, over 25 years ago. I believe it mainly stemmed from roots of rejection that I had not let God heal yet. I was not rejoicing while writing the song, but the lyrics kept flowing. As I started to sing and record the vocals, I felt God's presence and realized I could rejoice in what God did for us through His son, our ultimate joy! I wanted the song to be a duet and asked Charity Abbott to join me on the song. No matter what is going on in your life, will you pause and rejoice in knowing Jesus paid the price for us?
