Messy Wine

I wrote 'Messy Wine' during a time when I was reflecting a lot on past relationships, particularly one that felt intoxicating but also very manipulative. It's funny how sometimes you can be so caught up in the moment that you don't see the red flags. The song is about that realization, that bittersweet moment of understanding that someone had you wrapped around their finger. Creating this song was an emotional journey. I wanted to capture that dreamy, almost hazy feeling of being in love, but also the underlying sense of unease. The production, with its dreamy soundscape and intimate vocals, really helped to bring that feeling to life. It's like looking back on a memory, both comforting and a little unsettling at the same time. Ultimately, 'Messy Wine' is about recognizing those unbalanced dynamics in relationships and finding the strength to move forward. I hope when people listen to it, they feel like they can relate to the story.
