About JaydeeQ
JaydeeQ is an electronic project born in 2025 from the meeting of Salvatore Marano (synths and keys), Jacopo Trivero (synths and vocals), and Diego Lacaille (drum pads). The trio stands out for its unconventional approach: no DJ sets, but performances built exclusively with instruments played in real time, bringing the physical and performative dimension of electronic music back to the center. JaydeeQ's sound moves through territories ranging from new rave to electro punk, from psytrance to EBM and IDM, all the way to post new wave, electro-industrial, and kraut rock influences. A layered sonic identity that combines clubbing energy with timbral research. The project took shape within Cime Sonore, a creative collective rooted in Val Varaita, and developed within the spaces of La Bucaniera, a hub dedicated to music production and artist residencies. It was here that the first album was born, the result of twelve months of work between studio and club, released on June 5, 2026 via Overdub Recordings. The debut single, "Alien Song," available digitally since March 31, features a collaboration with PirATK, who contributes synth and drum machine, further expanding the project's sonic palette. Key influences include David Bowie (Low period), The Prodigy, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, and Kraftwerk, alongside more erudite references such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Luciano Berio. The album is currently distributed worldwide by Juno Records.
