Flamboyant Bone

Flamboyant Bone are a modern psychedelic rock band from London and North Kent. They are a rhythm driven band, combining the propulsive energy of funk and krautrock with the heavy mind bending textures of classic and contemporary psych. The result is a sound that is danceable and trippy. The band started as a small project post pandemic. Tom Rowlands and Steve Fuller traded ideas remotely. The duo locked into a heavy propulsive groove framework and released their underground E.P, Slim in all the wrong places.Moving from the home studio to the live floor, Flamboyant Bone expanded into a five piece line up. Dave Jackson on guitar, brought expansive textures and melodies, Stef Nicolls on bass, locked in with Steve Fullers drums to create a funk fuelled rhythm section. Angie M took lead vocal duties adding intricate vocal phrasing and Tom Rowlands took backing vocals and synths, anchoring the bands heavy sonic freak outs. Now on the verge of releasing a 3 track E.P the band have been honing their skills on London's live scene for the last year.
