Dead Air Network is a DIY punk / new wave band in the tradition of bands like The Damned, built on the songwriting partnership of Pat A.V. and Dave Hibin who’ve been writing and playing together since the mid-1990s. Their roots go back to Kringle, a punk band that released a 7” on Black Pumpkin Records in 1997 (and briefly counted a young Gerard Way — later of My Chemical Romance — among its members) before disbanding in 1998. Pat and Dave launched the first incarnation of Dead Air Network in 1999, playing a handful of NYC shows before splitting to pursue separate projects — most notably Pat’s post-punk band Pazz Kluger, which recorded with NJ punk pioneer Marty Munsch in 2009 and continued writing and playing out through 2021. In 2024, Pat and Dave reunited as Dead Air Network and have been releasing new music steadily ever since. Drummer Chad Phillips (Blanks 77) was brought on board in April 2026 and the band recorded “Blue Collar Outcast” (released 6/12/26) and the band’s latest single, “Radio Silence” (released 8/7/26). Dead Air Network will be headed into the studio this September to record three new tracks, continuing the momentum of their return.
