Biography

About Dave Vela RNB Singer

Dave Vela is a powerhouse R&B singer, songwriter, and composer who bridges the timeless feel of classic 90s soul with modern urban R&B. Raised on the North and South sides of Milwaukee, Dave used his determination to overcome urban challenges, channeling his experiences into soulful, passionate music. Drawing inspiration from legendary crooners like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Keith Sweat, Babyface, and Ginuwine, Dave honed his skills performing across Milwaukee venues and street corners starting in 1994. His artistic path took a defining turn when he was taken under the wing of legendary soul/blues singer Harvey Scales, touring and developing a dynamic stage presence and deep songwriting repertoire. Featured multiple times in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Dave continues to deliver music that motivates, inspires, and restores genuine emotion to R&B.
