BRIME is a singer-songwriter, recording and performing artist poised to be a leading voice in Nigerian music (and African music by extension), not just as sounds that break through global barriers once in a while but as sounds that are a permanent mainstay in global sonic consumption. His music is a sonic travel between softness and grit, believing an artist should surrender to the music and play whatever role each song demands. Whether exploring heartbreak, ambition, faith, survival, love, or moments of joy and celebration, BRIME approaches each song as a new character, a new emotion, and a new perspective to tell a story. His sound sits in the space of Afro-emo and Afro-fusion. While Afrobeats remains foundational, he travels into pop, R&B/Soul, melodic rap, and Alté sounds to create music that feels intimate, honest, celebratory, and simply human.
