Mystery

I wrote 'Mystery' during a period of intense searching. It felt like I was trying to piece together a puzzle where the pieces kept shifting. The song explores the enigmatic nature of faith, love, and belief. I wanted to capture that feeling of reaching for something just beyond your grasp, that sense of wonder and uncertainty that comes with exploring the depths of your soul. Creating 'Mystery' was an emotional journey. It started with a simple melody on my guitar, and as I began to sing, the words just poured out. The harmonies came naturally, like layers of understanding building upon each other. I wanted the song to evoke a sense of introspection, but also offer a glimmer of hope. To acknowledge the darkness, but also to find light within it. The lyrics reflect my personal grappling with these big questions, and ultimately, finding solace in the mystery itself. The song is very much a reflection of my journey, exploring themes that resonate deeply with my own faith. It’s about acknowledging that we don't have all the answers, and that’s okay. There is freedom in acceptance. I hope 'Mystery' encourages others to embrace the unknown and find their own light in the darkness, just like I have.
